ACTIVITIES & PROJECTS

IPHA annually promotes hunting with its members, ethical hunting practices and the wise use of renewable wildlife resources at various international hunting conventions and conferences. On an ongoing basis it coordinates with other wildlife conservation and professional hunter associations to exchange expertise, information and resources. It cooperates with like-minded organizations to help police the industry and to maintain high ethical standards. It represents the interests of its members and the hunting industry at CITES and other important wildlife meetings around the world. It provides financial support, on an annual basis to Conservation Force for many joint projects.

IPHA has been privileged to have a seat at the recent CITES Convention, which was held in Panama. Our outstanding delegate, Mrs. Danene van der Westhuyzen, has prepared an important and comprehensive report about the various outcomes. Click here to download the report in pdf format.
